Temple Bar

Temple Bar is a must see location for anyone visiting Dublin City.

Located on the banks of the River Liffey, originally the area was one of trade & commerce in the 1700s but fell into disrepair. It wasn’t until 1991 that, due to tax incentives and funding from the government, that Temple Bar became the thriving and welcoming community it is today.

Temple Bar is home to many different attractions and sights to see and explore. One of the unmissable sights include the Ha’penny Bridge, he oldest pedestrian crossing for the River Liffey and one of the most iconic sites in the city. The area is also one of culture and arts featuring the Temple Bar Gallery + Studio. The Projects Arts Centre and the Olympia Theatre.
